Introduction

 This page explains all about every skill in TS2 and how to acquire them.

Basic skills

In the sims 2, sims can aquire a variety of different skills. The first type is basic skills. Basic skills are the types of skills that you can view by clicking on the career panel of your toolbar. There is 7 types of skills: Cooking, Mechanical, Charisma, Body, Logic, Creativity, and cleaning.

Cooking

To gain the cooking skill, you do just that, cook. While cooking, the small blue skill bar appears above your sims head and when it's full, your sim gains a skill. Now, you don't have to slave over the stove all day and end up with a million meals just to increase your skill. You can also go to the bookcase and select, "study...Cooking".
